The Turning Point.

The Turning Point traces the emotional arc of car donation—from the act of giving to the transformative moment when contributions turn into shelter and hope for youth in need.

The strength of this treatment lies in the wide tapestry of moments captured, both in the diversity of the people involved and the variety of backdrops that they are found in…

A guy patting his car on the hood as he bids farewell to his beloved runabout as it’s getting picked up by the team at his house. The hubbub at the auction - the auctioneer might even hint at the money is going to such a vital cause as he brings down the hammer. The team putting the final touches on a backyard studio - stepping back and admiring the work. A recipient is getting shown through the studio….

Authenticity will be the key. We aim to capture genuine, unscripted moments that reflect the true meaning of giving back and making a difference in the lives of those who need it most, culminating in the visible joy, relief, and happiness of the studio accommodation's completion and handover.

The TAL reference to the right will give you a really good idea of what I’d love to strive for - really good diversity and realness in feel and all with great energy.

The role of the voice over is to join the dots - not corporate or overly explanatory - just to provide that context to the mission of stopping youth homelessness before it starts and tapping into the reward and satisfaction of giving.

The TAL voice over vibe is good and I also love the read I got with Sybilla Budd for the Future TAFE cinema commercial I did a few years back.

The Extra Mile.

I need to say less for this one. Beautifully shot interview and incredibly well crafted B roll at his garage. I have loads of examples I could share for this one but my Unsung Series will suffice :)

These are both longer than what we would go for but the quality and thoughtfulness of the B roll and interviews provide good reference points.
